From a very young age i’ve felt a deep love & connection with all animals.

As a child i’d spend hours cycling in the english countryside. Stopping off to spend time with cows or wild ponies. Enjoying that silent connection.

At home I cared for many animals, including cats, birds, hamsters & I would dream of smuggling them into school with me.

Being a highly creative child when I wasnt spending time in nature or with animals I was either dancing or framing and capturing that perfect image in my minds eye before I knew what a camera was.

Eventually I discovered the camera and as an adult I went on to study photography at the Photography Studies College in Melbourne Australia.

I had the privilege of working as a photographer in Portrait studios in Melbourne Australia and then at a Pet Photography studio, where I realised this is what I wanted to do. To combine my two loves, photography and animals, and to set up my own studio.

Visual beauty feeds my soul & creating beauty is my passion. I see beauty everywhere I go whether it be colour combinations, patterns, shape & design, man made or organic. I am fascinated with how these elements relate to each other.

The beauty and magic I feel in nature is one of my main sources of  inspiration. The feeling of magic fascinates me and I strive to create this feeling, specifically in my art.

I use my camera to capture the innocence and purity emanating from the eyes and the uniqueness of each animals, Incorporating my love for colour, pattern shape & design and would describe my style as fantastical, surreal, whimsical and fun.

I work very intuitively & photograph with a feeling of love and magic. It’s my hope & intention that this energy comes through the image, is felt by the viewer and is uplifting.

My relationship with each animal during the creative process is the priority. My sensitivity & ability to connect deeply & build trust with the animal is essential in order for me to be freely creative. I find that dogs in particular seem to enjoy the  process as much as I do. Their cooperation and desire to please is simply heart warming.

I find the photographic session to be such a beautiful, deep, soulful & bonding experience. I truely feel we are working together for that perfect image & am left feeling so grateful & humbled with how patient and cooperative dogs in particular are.

It has been such a privilege to get to know and form deep bonds with so many beautiful animals over the years. I very much look forward to meeting more beautiful and unique animals & having the opportunity to capture that perfect image .

I reside in Devon in the UK and travel to Melbourne Australia once a year.
